INTEGRATE FITNESS AS A LIFESTYLE CHOICE

My mission

My mission is to train people on how to build physical strength and mental toughness and apply it in their daily lives. I use a realistic and results-based approach for integrating proper exercise and nutrition to help clients understand their own bodies, achieve their own goals and be the best, strongest versions of themselves as possible. The root intention of this mission is to inspire people to take actionable steps toward caring for their bodies physically and unlock all the benefits that real exercise programming can do for them and their communities in the long-run. Starting with the right fitness program for each individual's needs, I want to show every person how to make healthy decisions as a Lifestyle choice.

About

I'm a University of Washington graduate, an international sports science Certified Personal Trainer and General Manager at Fortified Fitness, located in Renton, Washington. I've been active in sports for pretty much all my life, but was focused mostly with soccer from preschool, premier leagues and throughout 2-years at Bellevue College. I took a bad ankle injury my senior year in high school, which meant game-over for me in the moment, but I thought I’d never play again. Determined to get back into playing sports and just getting back to good health mentally and physically, I decided to train myself through taking college classes in; sports conditioning, sports medicine and weightlifting. After about one year of dedicated training, I tried out for the Bellevue College Women’s Soccer team and made it on the team as a walk-on, and started in matches.
After college, I knew there was something to be said about physical fitness that isn't ordinarily talked about in schools. I took a deep dive into how weight-training and gut-health could impact the brain, and began my personal nutrition journey along with exercise. I applied it all to myself and started to see and feel changes in my physical and mental health that I never thought were possible. Doing this became a pure hobby that I fell in love with! And so, the journey continues today.
My experiences have taught me that fitness is not just about physical strength but it’s about mental toughness. I follow a realistic approach when I teach my clients about real nutrition and fitness, as a Lifestyle because I believe in good fitness for the long-run. I am a true believer that when you take care of yourself, you can take better care of others around you! So let’s begin with YOU.
